As a team deeply committed to respecting consumer data, we recognized the urgent need for monitoring and vetting partners and vendors. Thus, Assumed was created! We saw an opportunity to leverage our existing expertise and resources to create a dedicated contact seeding platform for data leak monitoring, partner vetting and more.

Our Team
Brad Seiler
Founder
Brad is the founder of Assumed. Brad first had the idea for Assumed 15 years ago when the service was called mystery leads.
Brad is also the founder and principal of boberdoo.com LLC, a leading application service provider offering an integrated solution of lead management, call-tracking, lead distribution, verification, reporting and invoicing for the industry’s leading lead generation companies. Since 2000, he has overseen the business drivers, core products, features and technical services of boberdoo, taking it from a one-person operation to a team of almost 30 people.
In 2012 Brad Co-Founded ContactUs.com with Howard Yeh. ContactUs.com helped small businesses generate more leads from their own websites by offering tools normally only Fortune 500 companies could afford. ContactUs.com was acquired in 2015 by WorkWave.
Brad earned a MS in Computer Science from the University of Chicago.
Dan Cerceo
Chief Information Security Officer
Dan is the Chief Information Security Officer at Assumed. With over twenty years of experience in information technology, security, privacy and compliance, Dan believes that proper attention to security and privacy can become a strategic advantage by building trust with consumers and enhancing the security posture of businesses of all types and sizes. Dan’s professional life is a bit like living in a bowl of alphabet soup – CISSP, AWS, ITIL, SOC2, NIST CSF, ISO27001, TCPA, CCPA, GDPR.
After beginning his career with Yahoo!, Dan spent fifteen years with Comscore, most recently as VP of Corporate Security managing technology support, networking, security and really big data infrastructure. Concurrently with his role at Assumed, Dan is the CISO at boberdoo.com LLC, a successful SaaS provider in the lead generation industry that serves hundreds of clients and processes over 35 million API requests per day.
Dan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and earned a BS in Management Information Systems from St. Xavier University and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago.

Taylor Leikness
Digital Marketing Specialist
Taylor Leikness is a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist at Assumed & boberdoo.com with six years of hands-on digital marketing experience. Taylor’s expertise is creating effective digital marketing strategies. Taylor has honed a comprehensive skill set that is a testament to her versatility and adaptability. This includes content creation, email marketing, website management, ad campaigns, video production and many other aspects you will discover when exploring Assumed.
Taylor’s marketing journey began at The University of Wisconsin Whitewater, where she pursued graphic design and digital marketing degrees. Along the way, it became clear that grabbing a web development certificate would be a massive piece of the puzzle to push her ahead of her peers. This led to Taylor and boberdoo connecting shortly after graduation, where she could take all the different skills she learned and master them in a way that helped boberdoo and soon Assumed more and more every year.
In her free time, Taylor works on various art projects for her side business, attends concerts or hangs out with her significant other and two cats.
Scott Hettman
Sales & Marketing Manager
Scott Hettman is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with almost 2 decades of experience in the lead generation industry. Since 2011, Scott has been a driving force behind boberdoo.com LLC’s client and employee relations as their Sales & Marketing Manager. In this role, he expertly oversees all client-facing and employee-facing activities, ensuring smooth operations and fostering strong relationships that contribute to the company’s continued success. Before joining boberdoo.com, he worked for several lead generation companies ranging from debt settlement to cosmetic dentistry. Scott honed his analytical and decision-making skills as an options trader at the prestigious Chicago Board of Trade. This experience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment equipped him with a unique perspective on risk management and strategic thinking that he now applies to the software industry.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree from the renowned University of Chicago, known for its rigorous academic programs and innovative approach to learning. Building on this solid foundation, Scott further enhanced his business acumen by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from DePaul University’s Kellstadt School of Business, a program highly regarded for its practical, real-world focus.
