Assumed AI Labs

Building the future of trust, one prompt at a time.

Exploring, testing, and responsibly deploying AI technologies that strengthen data integrity, reduce fraud, and accelerate secure innovation across the Assumed ecosystem.

What Is Assumed AI Labs?

Assumed AI Labs is our internal research and development hub dedicated to exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance trust, transparency, and security across the digital ecosystem.

We build and test AI‑powered systems that help organizations verify data quality, detect deception, and integrate AI safely into their workflows.

All AI outputs from Assumed AI Labs are considered to be in beta.

They are powerful, promising, and still evolving. We encourage customers and partners to explore these innovations with curiosity and caution, and to treat all AI‑generated outputs as experimental inputs—not final answers.

Featured Project: Deception Detection Engine

Our flagship AI initiative is the Deception Detection Engine, a machine‑learning system designed to identify signals of misrepresentation, fraud, and synthetic behavior in lead data.

This engine analyzes patterns across thousands of data points to help organizations:

  • Reduce fraud and waste
  • Improve lead quality
  • Strengthen compliance and brand integrity
  • Protect downstream partners and ecosystems

The Deception Detection Engine is currently in BETA. Results are powerful but not perfect and should never be used as the sole basis for compliance or risk decisions.

What We’re Building Next (maybe)

Assumed AI Labs is actively developing new AI‑powered capabilities that will extend across the Assumed platform. These initiatives are experimental, fast‑moving, grounded in strong governance and oftentimes just ideas that may or may not grow up.

AI‑Generated Plugins for Assumed Seeds

Automated enrichment, risk scoring, and partner‑vetting modules that plug directly into Assumed Seeds to surface issues faster and with more context.

AI‑Coded APIs & Integrations

Rapidly generated API endpoints and connectors that accelerate onboarding, reduce engineering lift, and make downstream visibility easier to embed into existing stacks.

Adaptive Risk Models

Models that learn from real‑world partner behavior to continuously improve accuracy, reduce false positives, and surface emerging risk patterns.

AI‑Assisted Compliance Workflows

Guided workflows that help teams meet regulatory expectations while maintaining speed, with AI suggesting checks, documentation, and follow‑ups—always subject to human review.

All upcoming AI features are experimental and may change, be limited, or be deprecated as we learn.

Our Approach to AI‑Assisted Development & Governance

At Assumed, AI is a tool—not a shortcut. Our development philosophy is built on four core principles that keep humans, governance, and transparency at the center.

1. Human‑Centered Engineering

AI accelerates development, but humans remain accountable for design, review, and decision‑making. Every model and feature is overseen by engineers, security experts, and compliance professionals.

2. Governance at Every Stage

We apply controls across the AI lifecycle, including data protection and minimization, secure development practices, model evaluation and monitoring, documentation and auditability, and bias and fairness checks.

3. Transparency & Explainability

We believe AI should be understandable. Where possible, our models expose interpretable signals, confidence levels, and clear usage guidance so teams know how to apply outputs—and where to be skeptical.

4. Beta‑First Mindset

All AI outputs from Assumed AI Labs are treated as beta. They are really cool, but still developmental. They should be used as decision support—not as the final word.

In practice, this means we label AI‑generated content, document limitations, and encourage customers to validate results against their own standards, controls, and risk appetite.
